Story

Hi, I'm Scarlett

On 16 September, I'll be climbing Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge as one of The First 56 taking part in the inaugural Climb Against Crime.

When Voice for Victims Foundation invited me to be part of The First 56, I didn't hesitate.

Crime can affect anyone, at any time. I know all too well how devastating effects of crime after losing my mother, Emma Lovell, on Boxing day 2022.

While we all hope for safer communities, the reality is that crime will still occur. When it does, victims deserve compassion, practical assistance and someone to walk beside them as they recover.

That's why I'm taking on this challenge, alongside Riley, my Dad & Sav.

We have committed to raising at least $500 each to help Voice for Victims Foundation continue providing free, confidential, trauma-informed support to victims of crime across Queensland.

If you're able to support my climb with a donation, I'd be incredibly grateful.

Together, we can stand against crime, stand with victims and help ensure no one has to face recovery alone.

Thank you for your support.
