Story
Hi, I'm Natalie.
On 16 September, I'll be climbing Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge as one of The First 56 taking part in the inaugural Climb Against Crime.
When Voice for Victims Foundation invited me to be part of The First 56, I didn't hesitate. As a victim of a serious violent offence that has completely changed the trajectory of my life and as a Director of the Voice for Victims Foundation I was proud to put my hand up to climb for every victim that deserves to be seen, heard and supported
Crime can affect anyone, at any time. While we all hope for safer communities, the reality is that crime will still occur. When it does, victims deserve compassion, practical assistance and someone to walk beside them as they recover.
That's why I'm taking on this challenge on behalf of Voice for Victims and to drive support for the future
I've committed to raising at least $1,000 to help Voice for Victims Foundation continue providing free, confidential, trauma-informed support to victims of crime across Queensland.
If you're able to support my climb and share it amongst your networks to bring further awareness and donate if you can, I'd be incredibly grateful
Together, we can stand against crime, stand with victims and help ensure no one has to face recovery alone.
Thank you for your support.
